The AMS-2000 provides the pilot with up-to-the-second altitude data and gives both visual and audio alerts to warn the pilot of altitude deviations. A single control knob selects all functions. The AMS-2000 supplies altitude management data including present altitude, target altitude, destination altitude, minimum descent altitude, gear-down warning, decision height, as well as both a long- and short term timer. Unique to the AMS-2000 is the level-off alert which pilots select when they require a warning approach to their target altitude in 100-foot increments.
