THE GVC39 IS NOW PMA APPROVED. - The GVC39 system provides satellite weather information to be displayed on existing Universal MFD640 and EFI-890R displays. The GVC39 is designed to host the XM WX or WSI Satellite Weather  products. The GVC39 system provides the interface between the satellite weather receiver and the cockpit display by providing the computer to run the application software and the correct video format. The GVC39 Video Control Panel is a Dzus mounted unit providing the flight crew the equivalent of a three-button mouse to control the operation of the weather delivery product. Further, the GVC39 accepts ARINC 429 GPS data for input into the weather software, allowing it to display position, track, and velocity data.
