The TRM-U225 is a rack mount, fully synthesized, UHF/AM base station designed to provide military air band coverage from 225.000 to 399.975 MHz in 25 KHz steps. This versatile transceiver can store 4 preset channels which can be easily programmed via the front panel keypad. A scan function allows scanning of the four pre-sets as well as any frequency range within a user defined upper and lower frequency limit. A two line, back lit LCD display presents information on operating mode and selected operating frequency. The TRM-U225 features a 15 Watt transmitter (60 Watts PEP) and can operate on 24 Volts DC (battery) in an emergency situation. A front panel Hi/Lo power switch enables selection of a low power mode (1Watt) allowing for for reduced battery power consumption during a power out emergency. This transceiver operates on a110 Vac or 220 Vac, 50/60 Hz main supply with automatic switchover to external 24 VDC batteries (if utilized). An internal, configurable, industry standard line interface card allows remote operation with a variety of communications interfaces and will support remote operation over 2 or4 wire 600 ohm dedicated lines utilizing 2175 Hz (standard) or 2300 Hz (optional) tone keying, DC keying Current loop Keying and dry contact keying.
